Low-slope roofing can be tricky for some. Porches, additions and anything 3/12 pitch and under are not recommended for shingles. Shingles are designed for water to run over quickly and dry fast. When shingles are installed on low slopes the water can pool and absorb into the shingles which causes leaks. Our solution for this is a polymerized rubber, coated with asphalt and reinforced with fiberglass called Modified Bitumen. It is a rolled roofing application that has granules similar to your shingle that will ensure any low slope on your roof will be leak-free as long as the rest of your roof.

When it comes to allowing your attic to breathe, intake and exhaust are very important. The flow of air not only keeps your attic cooler and drier, but it can also lower your utility costs. Trapping moist hot air in the attic will eventually lead to mold and premature shingle wear. To prevent this we ensure that your attic has a constant flow of air running through it. We use a rolled baffled ridge vent system that will allow your attic to exhaust the hot air from the very peak of the roof. In instances where ridge vents are not practical, we can also install a wide variety of box vents, power vents, and solar vents to allow your roof to stay in the preserved shape from when we installed it.
